Bathroom Deep Cleaning in Wheeling, IL

This recent deep cleaning took us to a home in Wheeling, ZIP code 60090. The home was furnished and still in daily use. The job centered on two bathrooms that needed real scrubbing. One has a long double vanity, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. The other has white wall tile around a tub with a shower head. We took both rooms from stained to clean.

Long Double Vanity

The main bathroom has a cultured marble top with two oval sinks. We cleared the counter, wiped it down and set items back neatly. Each sink was scrubbed around the drain and under the faucet. Soap scum and toothpaste spots came off the basins. We polished the faucets and the wide mirror above them. The wood cabinet doors below were wiped as well.

Soaking Tub and Shower

Beside the vanity sits a white soaking tub with a tiled ledge. We scrubbed the inside of the tub and wiped the faucet and drain. The beige wall tile and grout lines were cleaned by hand. Next to the tub, the walk-in shower got the same treatment. We finished by mopping the tile floor and shaking out the bath mats.

Hall Bath Tub and Tile

The second bathroom had the hardest work of the day. The tub had a dark film on the floor and rust stains near the drain. Grout lines on the white wall tile had turned orange in spots. We scrubbed the tub until it turned white again. Then we worked along the grout with a small brush. The chrome handle and spout were polished to finish.
