Empty House Move-Out Cleaning in Skokie, IL

This recent move-out cleaning was for an empty house in Skokie, ZIP code 60077. Every room was clear of furniture, so we could reach every corner. Upstairs, the house has warm oak floors, an arched doorway and a tiled kitchen. Downstairs, a large basement has gray tile floors and its own full bathroom. We cleaned both levels from top to bottom.

Kitchen With Gas Range

The kitchen has dark wood cabinets, a gas range and a tile floor. With the home empty, we cleaned inside every cabinet and drawer. The counters and backsplash were wiped, and the sink was scrubbed and rinsed. We cleaned the range top, grates and front panel. The tile floor was swept, then mopped along every wall. The light fixture over the room was dusted as well.

Basement Rooms and Stairs

The basement has a finished room, a long hallway and an open utility area. All of it has large gray floor tiles. We swept and mopped every tile, from the stairs to the far wall. The painted stairs with black treads were wiped one step at a time. We cleaned the handrail and the white walls along the stairwell. Baseboards in each basement room were wiped too.

Two Full Bathrooms

The upstairs bathroom has a glass bowl sink and a sliding shower door. We wiped the sink with care so the glass stayed clear and free of spots. The basement bathroom has a tiled walk-in shower and a white vanity. In both rooms, we scrubbed the toilets, wiped the mirrors and cleaned the shower glass. The tile floors were mopped last so they stayed clean.
