Standard House Cleaning in Skokie (60076)

This recent standard cleaning was at a large, furnished house in Skokie, ZIP 60076. The main floor is open, with honey colored hardwood throughout. We cleaned the kitchen island, the counters and the appliance fronts. The main bathroom has a corner tub and a glass shower. A carpeted bedroom was vacuumed and dusted as well. The hardwood got the most care so it would shine.

Open Hardwood Living Area

The open main floor has a lot of hardwood, and it shows every footprint. We dusted the baseboards first, so dirt would not fall on clean floors. Next, the crew swept the full span of wood. Then we damp mopped with the grain, one section at a time. A dry cloth followed to stop water spots. The photo shows the shine across the room.

Kitchen Island and Counters

The kitchen has oak cabinets, black granite and a center island. We wiped the island top and the edges where stools rub. The counters were cleaned around the owner's dishes and small appliances. The dishwasher and the steel fridge doors were wiped with the grain. Cabinet doors near the sink and stove got extra attention. We also cleaned the pendant light over the island.

Corner Tub Bathroom

The main bathroom has a large corner tub with a tile deck. We scrubbed the tub and wiped the jets and the faucet. The glass shower door with gold trim was cleaned on both sides. We washed the toilet, the vanity sink and the counter. Window sills and blinds near the tub were dusted. Last, the big marble look floor tiles were mopped to the door.
