Northbrook (60062) Move-Out Cleaning

This recent move-out cleaning was in Northbrook, ZIP 60062. The house was empty when our crew arrived. With no furniture in the way, we could clean every inch of each room. The bedrooms have new looking gray carpet and plain white walls. The bathroom has a tub behind glass doors and a decorative tile border. We left the home ready for the next people to move in.

Tub, Glass Doors and Tile Border

The tub sits behind two sliding glass doors with a dotted pattern. Those dots hold soap film, so we scrubbed the glass on both sides. The beige wall tile and the dark diamond border were washed. We cleaned the faucet, the shower valve and the tub drain. The sink top, the wood vanity and its pulls were wiped down. The floor tile and the vent cover were the last steps.

Empty Bedrooms and Carpet

Empty rooms show every speck of dust, so we started high. We wiped the light fixtures, the door frames and the closet tracks. Window sills and the baseboard heater covers got a damp cloth. Outlet covers and switch plates were wiped clean too. Then the carpet was vacuumed wall to wall in long rows. The fresh lines in the carpet show that no corner was skipped.

Blinds and Ceiling Fan

One bedroom has two wide windows with dark mini blinds. We closed the slats and dusted them in one direction, then flipped them. Each slat was wiped so no gray film was left behind. The ceiling fan blades were cleaned on top, where dust builds up. We also wiped the glass light shades under the fan. Last, we vacuumed again under the windows to catch falling dust.
