Deep Cleaning in Northbrook, IL: Kitchen Detail

This recent deep cleaning was in Northbrook, ZIP 60062, at a furnished home. The photos focus on a newer kitchen with white cabinets and brass hardware. The refrigerator was empty, so we cleaned every shelf and bin inside it. We also detailed the gas range, the microwave and the open wood shelves. Cabinet doors and drawer fronts were washed one at a time. The work was slow and careful, the way deep cleans should be.

Inside the Refrigerator

With the fridge empty, we could reach every surface inside. We pulled out the crisper drawers and washed them by hand. The glass shelves were cleaned on both sides and dried. Door bins came out too, and their dark liners were wiped. We cleaned the walls, the ceiling light cover and the door seals. Then each part went back in its place, clean and dry.

Gas Range and Microwave

The range has heavy cast iron grates and a griddle in the middle. We lifted the grates and cleaned the burner caps beneath them. Spills around the burners were wiped up with a soft scrub pad. The control panel and knobs got a careful wipe. Above the range, we cleaned the microwave door glass and its steel frame. The steel was wiped with the grain so no streaks show.

Cabinets, Shelves and Brass Pulls

White shaker doors show fingerprints fast, mostly near the handles. We wiped every door and drawer front with a damp cloth. The long brass pulls and round knobs were cleaned and dried. Two thick wood shelves sit above the sink on a tile wall. We dusted them, then wiped the tile behind and below them. The brass faucet and the stone counter were finished last.
