Glenview (60026) Bathroom and Shower Cleaning

This was another recent standard cleaning in Glenview, ZIP 60026, at a different home. The photos from this job show the bathrooms only. The main one has a glass walk-in shower with white subway tile. It also has a dark vanity with a white stone top. We spent most of the visit on the shower, mirror and floors. Toilets were cleaned in each bathroom as well.

Walk-In Subway Tile Shower

Subway tile has many grout lines, and soap scum likes to hide there. We scrubbed the walls in sections, working from the ceiling down. Each white corner shelf was scrubbed and then rinsed. The brushed nickel valve and hand shower hose were wiped dry. The glass door got a full clean on both sides. Finally, we rinsed the shower base and wiped the metal track along the bottom.

Mirror and Stone Counter

A big mirror shows every fingerprint, so we cleaned it last in this room. We used a fresh cloth and wiped in long, overlapping strokes. The white stone counter was washed and the sink bowl was scrubbed. Faucet handles and the drain were wiped and buffed dry. We cleaned the light switch plate and the towel hook too. The finished mirror reflects the doorway with no streaks.

Toilets and Floor Tile

Each toilet was scrubbed inside the bowl and under the rim. We wiped the seat, the lid, the tank and the base. The hinges got a small brush because grime packs in there. Then we moved to the floors, which are long gray plank tiles. The edges by the tub and vanity were wiped by hand. The rest of the floor was mopped and left to dry.
