Standard House Cleaning in Glencoe, IL

This recent job was a standard cleaning at a furnished house in Glencoe, ZIP 60022. The family was living in the home, so the visit was routine upkeep. Our crew worked through a big primary bedroom and a lilac bedroom. We also washed two bathrooms with marble walls and floors. Every carpet in the house got slow, even vacuum passes. The aim was a calm, dust free house that felt good to come home to.

Primary Bedroom and Carpet

The primary bedroom has a tall tufted bed and a soft gray carpet. We dusted the nightstands, the tall dresser and the mirrored chest. The navy bench and the lamp bases got a damp wipe. Next, the crew vacuumed the carpet in long, straight rows. You can still see those neat lines in the photo. We also reached under the bench and along each wall. The room felt quiet and fresh when we were done.

Marble Bathrooms

Both bathrooms have white and gray marble that shows every water spot. We scrubbed each tub and rinsed the tile walls from top to bottom. Chrome taps and shower heads were wiped and dried to a shine. Mirrors and sink counters were cleaned with no streaks left behind. The toilets were washed inside and out, including the base. Last, we mopped the marble floors so the veins stand out again.

The Lilac Bedroom

The lilac bedroom has white furniture, a big window and a thick carpet. We dusted the bed frame, the nightstand and the small desk by the window. Wall shelves and the window sill got a quick but careful wipe. The crew vacuumed the open carpet and along every baseboard. We kept personal things right where they were left. The bed and pillows were tidied so the room looked neat and finished.
