Evanston, IL Standard Cleaning for Baths, Halls and Stairs

This recent standard cleaning was in a furnished home in Evanston, ZIP code 60201. The space has honey colored oak floors and a long central hallway. A set of wood stairs leads to the next level. Our team cleaned two bathrooms, swept and mopped the halls, and wiped down the stairs. We also dusted the bedroom and the living room with its big sectional sofa.

Two Tiled Bathrooms

One bathroom has red clay tile floors and a tub with a glass panel. The other has a walk-in shower lined with black glossy tile. In both, we scrubbed the toilet, sink and vanity top. We wiped the shower glass so it dried without streaks. The mirrors and towel bars were wiped, and the floors were mopped last.

Hallway and Wood Stairs

A long hallway runs from the front of the home to the back door. We dusted the baseboards and the door frames along the way. The oak floor was vacuumed and then damp mopped to a soft shine. The stairs have wood treads and black risers. We wiped each tread and riser by hand, then the black handrail.

Bedroom and Living Room

The bedroom has a wood bed frame and a dresser by the window. We dusted the dresser, the nightstand and the lamp shades. The living room has a gray sectional and two yellow chairs. We dusted the TV stand, the shelves and the woven light fixture. Floors in both rooms were vacuumed, with extra passes near the furniture legs.
