Des Plaines, IL Apartment Move-Out Cleaning

We finished a move-out clean of a Des Plaines apartment in ZIP 60016. The unit sat empty between residents, with bare closets and a stripped bed. The crew cleaned the carpeted bedrooms and the inside of each closet. They also scrubbed two bathrooms, one with a tub and one with a walk-in shower. The unit was left ready for its next resident.

Empty Bedrooms and Closets

The bedrooms have gray-brown carpet, white trim and big windows with blinds. We wiped the closet shelves and rods and dusted the doors. The window sills and blinds were dusted slat by slat. Every baseboard in both rooms got a damp wipe. The carpet was vacuumed in rows to lift dust and hair. A few older carpet marks are visible, which may need a carpet shampoo.

Tub and Walk-In Shower

One bath has a tub with gray stone-look tile. The other has a walk-in shower with a framed glass door. We scrubbed the tile walls, the tub and the shower floor. The glass door was cleaned on both sides to remove water spots. The chrome fixtures were polished dry with a soft cloth. The shower curtain was straightened and left hanging neat.

Double Vanity Bath

The main bath has a dark double vanity with a white stone top. Both basins, the faucets and the long counter were cleaned. The two mirrors were polished with a streak-free spray. Cabinet fronts and drawer pulls were wiped down. The toilet was cleaned inside and out, and the paper roll was replaced. To finish, we mopped the wood-look floor in every bath.
