Chicago, IL 60646 Move-Out Cleaning for an Empty House

We did this move-out clean in an empty house on Chicago's Far North Side, 60646. The home has golden oak floors, gray walls and lots of windows. Our crew cleaned the kitchen, the oven and the tiled bathroom. We also dusted ceiling fans and wiped every window frame. The oak floors in the living and dining rooms got the most care. The whole house was left bright and ready for move day.

Kitchen and White Gas Range

The kitchen has wood cabinets, tile counters and a white gas range. We lifted the burner grates and wiped the stove top below. The oven racks were cleaned, and the oven walls and door glass were scrubbed. Cabinet fronts and the sink were wiped down. We cleaned the white fridge and the microwave on the counter. Then we mopped the tile floor from the far wall to the door.

Tub, Pedestal Sink and Wainscot

The bathroom has a white tub, a pedestal sink and white wood paneling. We scrubbed the tub and the tile wall above it. The mosaic tile border along the tub was cleaned. Each groove in the paneling was dusted and wiped by hand. We cleaned the sink, the toilet and the dark framed mirror. The stone floor was washed and then dried by hand.

Oak Floors and Ceiling Fans

The living room, dining room and bedrooms all have light oak floors. We started high and dusted each ceiling fan and light first. Window frames, sills and blinds were wiped next. We cleaned the baseboards and the open closet shelves. Then the oak floors were vacuumed and damp mopped room by room. They were left with a warm and even shine.
