Deep Cleaning a Furnished Home in Chicago, IL 60634

This deep clean was a recent job on Chicago's Northwest Side in 60634. The home was furnished and lived in, with new looking floors and a bright kitchen. We spent extra time on the appliances, both inside and out. That meant the oven, the microwave and the fridge. The bathroom with its glass corner shower got a full scrub too. The open living space was dusted and mopped.

Oven and Microwave Interiors

The gas range has five burners and a griddle in the middle. We lifted the grates and cleaned the cooktop beneath them. Inside the oven, we scrubbed the walls, the racks and the door glass. The microwave above was wiped inside, including the turntable and ceiling. Its door, handle and keypad were cleaned last of all. Grease came off the control panel and the range edges too.

Fridge Shelves and Drawers

The French door fridge was full of food, so we worked shelf by shelf. We took items out, wiped each glass shelf, then put them back. The door bins and the crisper drawers were wiped clean. Spills and sticky rings were removed from the shelves. The freezer drawer front and handle got a polish. The steel doors were left free of fingerprints.

Glass Corner Shower

The bathroom has marble look tile and a glass corner shower. We scrubbed the wall tile and the pebble floor inside the shower. Water spots were cleaned off the glass panels and the door handle. The lighted mirror and the small vanity were wiped down. We cleaned the toilet, the shelf above it and the floor tile. The rack on the door was dusted one shelf at a time.
