Standard Cleaning for a Loft Apartment in Chicago, IL

This recent standard clean was for a furnished loft in Chicago 60618. The space has exposed brick, tall windows and dark wood floors. It was a routine upkeep visit, not a deep clean. We focused on the main living room and the bathroom with its walk-in shower. The work was simple, steady and done room by room. Dust came off, floors got mopped and the bathroom was scrubbed.

Living Room and Work Desk

The main room holds a gray sofa, a long desk and a bright patterned rug. We dusted the desk top around the monitor and small items. The window ledges and the brick wall trim were wiped down. We vacuumed the rug and the sofa cushions. The dark wood floor was swept and mopped along the walls. Curtains were left neat and hanging straight on the rods.

Walk-In Shower

The bathroom has a curbless shower with large gray tile on the walls. We scrubbed the wall tile and the floor tile around the drain. Soap film was rinsed off the black fixtures and the hand shower. The wire caddies were wiped under each bottle. We moved items, cleaned the shelf, then put everything back in place. The shower curtain was straightened to hang flat.

Sink, Vanity and Toilet

The vanity has a white top, a dark cabinet and a black faucet. We cleaned the basin and wiped the faucet until it was free of spots. The wall mirror was cleaned with a lint free cloth. Next we scrubbed the toilet inside and out, including the base. The floor tile was mopped and the bath mat was shaken out. Small items on the counter were set back neatly.
