Move-Out Bathroom and Closet Cleaning in Chicago (60618)

This recent job was a move-out clean on Chicago's North Side, ZIP 60618. The home was cleared out, with beige marble tile and light wood floors. Our crew spent most of the visit on the two bathrooms. We also cleaned a walk-in closet and the wood blinds in the bedrooms. Every surface in those rooms was wiped by hand. The goal was a home that felt fresh and ready for the move.

Main Bath With Jetted Tub

The main bathroom has a jetted tub, a corner shower and a double vanity. We scrubbed the tub shell and wiped the jets and chrome faucet. Inside the shower, we cleaned the tile walls and the glass door. The metal frame and track were wiped free of soap film. The double sink, marble top and wide mirror were cleaned and dried. Light fixtures over the mirror were dusted one glass shade at a time.

Second Bathroom

The second bath has a tub with a curved rod and a tiled surround. We scrubbed the tub, the tile walls and the grout lines between them. The window ledge inside the shower was wiped clean. Next, we cleaned the toilet, the sink and the dark wood vanity. Towel bars and the door knob got a quick polish. The marble floor tiles were washed and left with a soft shine.

Walk-In Closet and Wood Blinds

The walk-in closet has wire shelves along one wall and a bright window. We dusted each wire shelf and wiped the closet walls. The light wood floor was vacuumed and mopped right up to the baseboards. In the bedrooms, the wood blinds had dust on every slat. We wiped the slats one by one and dusted the cords. The window sills and frames were cleaned at the same time.
