High-Rise Move-Out Cleaning in Chicago, IL (Lakeview)

This recent move-out cleaning was in a high-rise unit in Lakeview, Chicago, ZIP 60613. The unit was empty, with dark wood floors and wide windows facing the lake. With no furniture in the way, we cleaned every room from wall to wall. The work covered the open living area, the bedroom and a marble bathroom. The unit was left ready for the next resident.

Open Living Area

The main room runs from the kitchen counter to a long wall of windows. We vacuumed the dark wood floor and then damp mopped it in sections. The low ledge under the windows was dusted and wiped. We cleaned the inside glass so the view was clear again. The breakfast bar top and the fronts of the kitchen cabinets were wiped down.

Navy Blue Bedroom

The bedroom has deep blue walls and a corner window. Dark walls show dust and fingerprints more than light ones. We wiped the baseboards and the outlet covers around the room. The window blinds were dusted slat by slat. The wood floor was vacuumed in the corners and then mopped toward the door. Nothing was left on the floor or the sills.

Marble Bathroom

The bathroom is lined with gray and white marble tile. A strip of dark glass tile runs around the tub wall. We scrubbed the tub and cleaned both panels of the sliding glass door. We wiped and buffed the stone counter, the basin and the framed mirror. We cleaned the toilet, then mopped the marble floor from the back wall out.
