Arlington Heights, IL Deep House Cleaning Job

This was a recent deep clean of a two-story house in Arlington Heights, ZIP 60004. The bedrooms had little furniture, which left the floors wide open. The crew spent much of the visit on the wood stairs and the bedroom floors. They also cleaned three bathrooms, from a large double vanity to a small half bath. Each room got careful attention from top to bottom.

Wood Stairs and Railing

The staircase has oak treads, white risers and a dark wood railing. Dust gathers in the back corners of every step. We vacuumed each tread, then wiped the treads and risers by hand. The white spindles were dusted one at a time. The handrail was wiped from top to bottom. The landing and the hall floor were mopped last.

Bedroom Floors and Trim

The bedrooms have warm wood-look plank floors and white trim. One room has painted wood paneling on the walls. We dusted the window sills, vents and ceiling lights first. Then the baseboards were wiped all the way around each room. The floors were vacuumed and damp mopped with a gentle cleaner. The planks now have an even, streak-free shine.

Three Clean Bathrooms

The main bath has two vanities with granite tops and framed mirrors. We cleaned both sinks, the faucets and the long counters. The mirrors were polished, and the cabinet fronts were wiped down. In the smaller baths we scrubbed the white wall tile and the shower stall. We cleaned every toilet inside and out, plus the base. Then we mopped each tile floor before leaving.
