Move-Out Cleaning in Arlington Heights, IL

This recent job was an empty unit in Arlington Heights, ZIP 60004. There was no furniture in any room, so every surface was easy to reach. The crew started in the kitchen with the cabinets and appliances. Next they moved on to the small tiled bathroom. They finished up with the two carpeted bedrooms upstairs. The aim was a clean, fresh unit for the next person moving in.

Kitchen Cabinets and Appliances

This kitchen has gray shaker cabinets, white subway tile and steel appliances. Every cabinet shelf had crumbs and sticky spots before we started. We wiped each shelf, door and handle by hand. The microwave was cleaned inside, along with its glass tray. Food spills in the freezer were scrubbed off the floor and walls. Last, we wiped the range, the fridge doors and the counters.

Tiled Tub and Vanity

The bathroom has a white tile tub surround and a small gray vanity. Soap film and grime tend to build up on corner shower shelves. We scrubbed the tile, the corner shelf and the tub itself. The mirror cabinet was wiped clean inside and out. The sink, faucet and toilet were cleaned and dried. The wood-look floor got a full mop right up to the tub.

Carpeted Bedrooms

Both bedrooms have soft gray carpet, white trim and baseboard heaters. Dust likes to settle on top of those heaters, so we wiped each one. Window sills and blinds got a careful dusting as well. We cleaned the doors, switch plates and the wall AC cover. Then the carpet was vacuumed from wall to wall. You can see the fresh vacuum lines in the photos.
